We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Oncology Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing post-surgical interventions for various types of cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and focused evaluations to ensure optimal patient care
- Administer medications and maintain peripheral and central lines
- Monitor drains, stomas, and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
- Provide patient and family-centred education and support
- Perform other duties consistent with the job classification, as required
- Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Graduate of a CNO-approved bachelor's degree in nursing program, or equivalent combined education and experience
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), specialty certificate in oncology, and 1 year recent adult medical surgical nursing experience
