About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Software Engineer to join our team at Aerospace Talent Group LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation technologies for chemistry workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Development: Develop applications for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining chemical automation technologies, including DirectInject-LC and self-driving labs.
  • Automation Technology Development: Collaborate with hardware and chemistry teams to design, develop, and optimize new automation technologies for chemistry workflows.
  • Systems Integration and Maintenance: Oversee software integration of automation systems with existing laboratory equipment and processes.
  • Technical Communication: Prepare research presentations, including data visualizations, for both technical audiences and the general public.
Requirements
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing automation technologies, ideally in a chemistry or laboratory setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Python and Windows.NET framework, experience with C++, C#, and Linux environments, familiarity with UPLC/HPLC instruments, Chromatography Data Systems, and related applications.
