At Anishinabek Employment & Training Services, we are committed to supporting the well-being of Indigenous children, youth, and families. As a Family Wellness Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the delivery of Child Welfare services and ensuring consistency with our Agency's Mikinaak Service Model.

The successful candidate will provide direction and supervision to Child Wellness staff, collaborate with the Senior Management Team to implement integrated service delivery, and ensure that services and programs reflect the policies and procedures of our organization.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a minimum three-year BSW or other three-year Social Services Degree. A four-year HBSW is preferred, but candidates without the specific education qualifications who possess an appropriate combination of child welfare experience and other academic qualifications will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the delivery of Child Welfare services
  • Providing direction and supervision to Child Wellness staff
  • Ensuring consistency with our Agency's Mikinaak Service Model
  • Collaborating with the Senior Management Team to implement integrated service delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum three-year BSW or other three-year Social Services Degree
  • Four-year HBSW preferred
  • Three years or more managerial experience in Child Welfare Protection Services
  • Direct service experience with Indigenous children, youth, families, and communities
