Job Summary

  • We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals who share our commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Responsibilities will include ensuring timely and safe resident transfers and discharges, as well as maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to management.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time position with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.
  • Shifts may include early morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight rotations.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Long Term Care Act and the Health Disciplines Act

Compensation and Benefits

  • The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.
