About the Role

The Wellington Catholic District School Board is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Supervisor to oversee the management, accuracy, and security of our Student Information System (SIS) and related data processes.

This key leadership role ensures the smooth operation of the SIS, supports data-driven decision-making, and provides technical expertise to staff and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and data management, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the administration, maintenance, and operation of the Student Information System (SIS).
  • Ensure system updates, patches, and enhancements are tested and implemented efficiently.
  • Supervise the troubleshooting of technical issues related to student information and ancillary systems and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager IT Services

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in student information systems, ideally PowerSchool or similar large complex systems.
  • Experience in supervisory or team leadership roles is preferred.
  • Excellent computer and technical skills including the use of excel for data analysis.
