Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare in the Brighton area.
Job SummaryThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of nursing expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and its services.
- Ensure resident transfers and discharges are timely and safe.
- Ensure the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and adherence to protocols on all assigned shifts.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation.
- Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record check.
All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
