We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare, providing high-quality care to our residents in the Brighton-area.
Job SummaryAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and emotional needs are met. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Manage medications, narcotics, and supplies, adhering to protocols and regulations.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others, respecting resident autonomy and dignity.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards influencing long-term care.
- Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record check.
All staff are required to adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols and wear masks at all times.
