**Job Summary**

Tritan Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team in a leading manufacturing and packaging plant.

The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager and works on the shop floor to maintain plant machinery and facilities and improve business operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn-out parts and lubricating mechanical components.
  • Operate machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts and facilitate maintenance tasks.
  • Install and troubleshoot vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and programmable logic controls; replace electrical components as needed.
  • Perform changeovers on different volumes and formats as required to ensure efficient production.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Understand, support, and comply with all company policies, including Health and Safety, Environmental, Food Safety, and Quality standards.

**Requirements:**

  • At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • Certified Journeyman Millwright with extensive experience in machine maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
  • Good knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Familiarity with maintenance software and systems is an asset.
