Job Summary

Centre de Santé Saint-Boniface is seeking a Health Care Aide to join our team. As a Health Care Aide, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to provide basic supportive care to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care and provide basic supportive care as assigned.
  • Work as a member of the health care team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide certificate program.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assigned workload.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond to a variety of simultaneous demands.
  • Ability to perform as a team member and seek assistance as necessary.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be exposed to stressful situations. The ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent patient care is essential.
