**About the Role:**

We're seeking an experienced Scalable Computing Architect to join our AWS Insights team. As a key member of this high-performing team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable systems that meet the needs of our customers.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Help define system architecture and implement specific components
  • Collaborate with product managers and software developers to define product scope
  • Take responsibility for technical problem-solving and developing best practices
  • Demonstrate cross-functional resource interaction to accomplish goals
  • Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in modern object-oriented languages

**Requirements:**

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language (Java, C++, or C#) including object-oriented design
  • Full software development life cycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations)

**What We Offer:**

  • A base salary ranging from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year, dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
  • Total compensation package, including equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation
