About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport and Communications General Manager to join our team at BHAGAT LOGISTICS LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the transportation and communication functions of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls to ensure the organization's resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Formulate and approve promotional campaigns to enhance the organization's reputation and brand.
  • Human Resources Planning: Approve overall human resources planning to ensure the organization has the necessary talent to achieve its goals.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, and delegate the necessary authority to them to create optimum working conditions.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate and have relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Language: Proficient in English as the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
