Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst, Accounting

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at CBC/Radio-Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in providing financial analysis and support to our directors and corporate managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed and complex analysis of financial and non-financial data to support quarterly IFRS Financial Statements, Consolidated IFRS Financial statements, and annual audit procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS).
  • Prepare presentations for senior management and the audit committee.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather information and support analysis.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).
  • Three to five years of experience in a related field, demonstrating growth and/or advancement in complexity, difficulty, or level of responsibility.
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English.
  • Knowledge and experience in areas of financial reporting and accounting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications.
