At MMR IT Services Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our company's computer networks.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires 30 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least one year of experience in network administration.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. However, please note that salaries can vary widely based on a variety of factors, including the specific job requirements and the needs of the employer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Install software and hardware, including web servers and printers.
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users and perform routine network start-up and close-down operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in network administration.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Linux, networking software, and security software.
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment that requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods. You must be able to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks, and have good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
