Job SummaryWe are currently seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join our team at the centre. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to patients in need of assistance with daily activities.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help patients with mobility issues, such as walking, transferring, and positioning
- Provide basic medical care, including taking vital signs and administering medications (as per training)
- Prepare meals and snacks for patients, and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as changing bed sheets and restocking supplies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed
- A competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year
