Quality Systems Manager

As a Senior Manager Quality Systems, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across all aspects of our operations. This includes the implementation and maintenance of our food safety and quality systems, ensuring that our site standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the smooth functioning of quality and food safety processes, systems, and guidelines for all incoming materials, processes, and finished goods.
- Lead and monitor initiatives to improve quality performance in the plant and during transit to the customer.
- Manage Quality, Regulatory, and Food Safety audits, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken to address any findings.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the quality awareness and competencies of the team.
- Carry out Supplier audits and provide feedback to corporate purchasing on Supplier performance.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in a food science or related subject.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior quality management role within the food and beverage industry.
- Proven experience managing and effectively leading a team within quality is required.
- Experience managing internal and 3rd party audits. Lead auditor qualifications would be highly regarded.
- Ability to build and develop strong, cooperative relationships with key stakeholders at senior and operational management levels.
- Strong understanding of HACCP and Food Safety.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
