About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Josan Construction & Landscaping Ltd. as a key member of our outdoor operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise and Schedule Staff: Lead and manage a team of landscapers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Develop and implement plans for landscaping projects, including estimating labour and material costs.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain logs of work completed, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment and Supplies: Source and procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies for landscaping projects.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to team members to ensure high-quality work and efficient project completion.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure timely project completion and optimal resource utilization.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
