We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team in the Rehabilitation Unit at Royal Inland Hospital. As an autonomous professional, you will have expertise in typical development and disorders of communication/swallowing as well as assessment and intervention in these areas.

About the Role

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with these individuals for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing for adults requiring this care. You will contribute to the organization's quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop treatment plans for adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and education programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Full practicing registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC)
  • One year's clinical experience with adults in a hospital setting and/or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • A valid Driver's license where required
  • Certified practice in VFSS and/or FEES as outlined by the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professions of BC are an asset

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $98,318 and $129,818, depending on experience.
