Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Support managers in addressing employee behavior and performance concerns, provide guidance on conflict resolution, and conduct workplace investigations as needed.
- Employee Development: Promote employee development planning and succession initiatives, facilitate performance reviews, and guide effective feedback delivery.
- Workforce Planning: Assist with workforce plans, analyze data to inform staffing strategies, and collaborate with leaders to forecast needs and develop solutions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
- HR certification (CHRP, CHRL) considered an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English considered an asset.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within Canada.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess issues and recommend solutions.
- Adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
