We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer, Municipal to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with civil engineers and other project team members to develop and implement infrastructure projects.
- Prepare preliminary and final designs for road reconstruction and infrastructure renewal projects, including stormwater management systems, culverts, watermains, sanitary and storm sewers, and grading.
- Coordinate and prepare approvals, tender documents, cost estimates, contract documents, and reports.
- Prepare and edit AutoCAD and Civil 3D design drawings as required.
- Provide engineering and contract administration support for municipal projects, including site development, roads, watermains, sanitary and storm sewer systems.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and all levels of staff in a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in municipal engineering, with consultancy experience preferred.
- Valid P. Eng. designation in the province of Ontario.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff.
- Experience or aptitude for meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development, and other skills appropriate to consulting.
- Proven capabilities in writing reports and other technical documents.
- Demonstrated superior English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Valid driver's license.
