Your Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Municipal Development Engineer to join our Land Development team in Kingston, ON. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing detailed engineering design solutions and input on the design process for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engineering design solutions for municipal infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with clients, municipal approving authorities, and contractors to ensure project success
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, and report status as required
  • Pursue obtaining necessary approvals and permits for projects
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Participate in business development efforts, including writing and pricing proposal efforts
  • Coordinate design and field staff required for internal project teams
  • Ensure health and safety policies are adhered to at all sites

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a professional engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in municipal infrastructure and land development design and construction. You'll have a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and experience with project management. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.
