Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Operations Vice-President to join our team at Southern Cross Industries Ltd.
Job Summary:The Operations Vice-President will be responsible for overseeing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, setting objectives for the organization, and formulating or approving policies and programs. This role will also involve representing the organization in negotiations or other official functions, selecting middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, and managing events.

- Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
- Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions
- Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff and delegate necessary authority
- Manage events and conduct performance reviews
The Operations Vice-President will supervise a team of more than 20 people.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and attention to detail.

- Judgement and organizational skills
The Operations Vice-President will support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
Support for Youths:This role involves providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Indigenous People:The Operations Vice-President will offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
This is a permanent position with 30 hours per week. The work language is English.
