Job Title: Utility Operator

About the Role:

As a Utility Operator at Mark It Locates Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our excavation services. Your expertise in navigating underground infrastructure will be key to preventing accidents and disruptions.

Responsibilities:


  • Locate and map underground gas lines to prevent damage and ensure safe excavation practices.
  • Conduct routine surveys of gas mains and distribution lines to identify potential hazards.
  • Provide critical information to our team regarding the location and condition of underground facilities.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement safe excavation plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure our services meet the highest standards.


Requirements:


  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
