South Country Equipment is seeking a skilled Precision Agronomist to join our team. As a key member of our agronomy support team, you will provide high-level agronomy support to our customers, leveraging Crop Intelligence and its Advanced Agronomy protocols.

You will work closely with our customers, agronomists, and industry partners to create innovative solutions in agriculture. Your expertise in agronomy, sales, and related disciplines will be essential in promoting the adoption and utilization of John Deere Equipment and Precision Ag Technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide agronomy support to customers, leveraging Crop Intelligence and its Advanced Agronomy protocols.
  • Collaborate with customers, agronomists, and industry partners to create innovative solutions in agriculture.
  • Support the sale, maintenance, and future development of in-field weather station equipment.
  • Promote the adoption and utilization of John Deere Equipment and Precision Ag Technologies.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a BSc degree or equivalent in Agriculture or related discipline, plus a minimum 2-3 years of work experience in agronomy, sales, or related discipline.
  • Proven working knowledge of plants, crops, soils, and related areas.
  • CCA, PAg designation preferred.
  • Possess a high level of understanding of regional agronomic challenges and technical knowledge.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adopt new technologies.
