We are partnering with a manufacturing company in Brampton seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to drive financial reporting, variance analysis, and compliance.

This key role involves working closely with the Controller to develop accurate financial schedules, conduct departmental cost analysis, and prepare monthly reports with actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in ASPE accounting principles and cost accounting, as well as advanced Excel skills to handle large datasets.

A competitive annual salary of $**120,000 - $150,000**, plus benefits, including health and dental plans, RRSP match program, free on-site parking, and hybrid working schedule, is offered.

In this position, you will:

  • Apply knowledge of key accounting principles and regulations (IFRS, ASPE) to develop accurate financial schedules and accounting entries.
  • Conduct departmental cost analysis and prepare monthly reports with actionable insights.
  • Handle various month-end processes, including journal entries, managing SAP schedules, and clearing CAPEX items.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to perform detailed manufacturing variance analysis and reporting.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • CPA designation with a Bachelor's degree in economics or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing finance role.
  • Expertise in ASPE accounting principles and cost accounting.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to handle large datasets.
  • Strong analytical skills for financial reporting and variance analysis.
