The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mobility and Accessibility Sales Consultant to join our team in York. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing client relationships throughout the purchase process of life-changing equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers, mobility scooters, stairlifts, ceiling lifts, and bathroom safety items.

You will work closely with therapists to match mobility and assisted living products with client needs, building strong relationships and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

  • Through our internal Learning Portal, you will have access to training on our products and processes, as well as professional development topics.
  • Industry events, including Motion's Rehab Expos, provide opportunities to network with vendors, occupational therapists, and peers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Solutions: Work directly with therapists to select custom mobility devices that meet client needs, ensuring Motion is the top choice for mobility devices in the region.
  2. Build and Maintain Relationships: Expand your network and create new relationships with Therapists, Caregivers, Manufacturers, and Healthcare facilities in the community.
  3. Be Flexible and Mobile: Travel to long-term care facilities, retirement homes, hospitals, schools, and residences to demonstrate products and services to clients and their teams.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience in selling, maintaining, or fitting in the mobility and accessibility industry, or a background in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Long Term Care, or another healthcare area.
  • Sales drive, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ask thoughtful questions to troubleshoot concerns and meet client needs.
  • Innovation, expertise in generating new leads, building relationships, and networking to ensure continued business growth.
  • Technical Skills, including experience with Customer Relationship databases (CRM) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to relate to people and build trust easily.
  • A valid G-class driver's license, clean driving record, clean criminal background check, and bondability.

Location:

This role is based in York, with travel required to surrounding areas.
