Job Title: Architectural Draftsperson

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join our team at GAGE METAL CLADDING LIMITED. As an Architectural Draftsperson, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs for building projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings for building projects
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Train new drafting personnel
  • Develop and prepare design sketches
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements
  • Leading/instructing groups
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drafting
  • College/CEGEP education
  • On-site work required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours
