Job Title: Architectural Draftsperson

TREND FOODSERVICE DESIGN & CONSULTING is seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join our team. As an Architectural Draftsperson, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and training new drafting personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy
  • Train new drafting personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in architectural technology/technician or related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
