Job Summary:

This role involves applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints to produce high-quality finishes on drywall surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply multiple layers of joint compound and smooth out excess material using a variety of tools.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a seamless finish.
  • Construct and install suspended metal ceiling grids, followed by the placement of panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Filling holes, cracks, and indentations with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing drywall sheets to ensure proper fit and finish.
  • Securing drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists using appropriate fastening methods.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in drywall finishing is required for this position.
  • Possess a permanent work arrangement with 30-40 hours per week.
  • Demonstrate fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $35,000 - $45,000, depending on location and level of experience.
