DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing support, organization, and order to ensure the smooth operation of our production and warehouse facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate labor resources, equipment, parts, and materials to support maintenance activities.
- Monitor work order backlog and schedule backlog work to maintain a reasonable level.
- Enter preventive maintenance data into our CMMS system and generate work orders.
- Analyze technical downtime and provide feedback to the Maintenance Manager to identify trends, potential issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Utilize maintenance reliability tools and calculations to determine failure rates, downtime, and trend occurrences.
- Ensure cost control of maintenance activities and accuracy of PM/WO data.
- Work closely with maintenance technicians, lead hands, engineers, continuous improvement experts, production supervisors, and production lead hands.
- Direct liaison in coordinating, managing, and ensuring all third-party work and contractors comply with Saputo Inc. standards and policies.
- Reliability-focused certification or asset management certification (e.g., CMRP, CRE, AMP, MMP).
- Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) is a must.
- High-level computer expertise and competence.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong mechanical or electrical skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented individual who accurately records information.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
