Job Overview

Enrique Garavito Lopez is seeking a highly qualified and caring Residential Child Caregiver to provide top-notch care for children in a loving home environment. Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role
  • This permanent position offers 30 hours of work per week, providing ample opportunity for rest and relaxation outside of work hours.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as they will be working closely with parents and other caregivers to ensure seamless transitions and consistent care.
  • With a focus on providing exceptional care, the Residential Child Caregiver will be expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment, including meal preparation, household chores, and light housekeeping duties.
  • In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in activities such as games, outings, and educational pursuits with the children, fostering their social, emotional, and intellectual growth.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant experience in childcare or a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but candidates with relevant training or certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
