- Implement price and credits policies, and locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, and determine staffing requirements.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, and conduct performance reviews.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff, and ensure a fast-paced and efficient work environment.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a retail or convenience store environment.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of database software, inventory control software, and computerized bookkeeping systems.
