About the Role

VHA Home HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in a community-based pediatric program. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing and providing consultation, recommendations, and interventions to a diverse group of pediatric clients in their schools using evidence-based best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and provide consultation, recommendations, and interventions to pediatric clients in their schools
  • Ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with the client care team regarding plans and schedules for interventions
  • Problem-solve in collaboration with the client and care team to create opportunities for more independence and promote VHA's core beliefs and values
Requirements
  • Member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Valid Driver's License with access to a vehicle
  • Minimum 2 years pediatric clinical experience (optimal)
