Job Title: Senior Online Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Online Software Engineer to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces for our medical devices using Qt.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop user interfaces for medical devices using Qt
  • Provide technical leadership to the team in software design and best-in-class software development methodologies and practices
  • Partner with other teams, including marketing, systems engineering, QA, hardware, and regulatory, to understand requirements and bring the best solutions forward
  • Develop and maintain software for embedded systems that interface with sensors
  • Work with third-party C++ libraries, such as STL, Qt, and Boost
Requirements:
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong software development background with expertise in C++, Qt, and familiarity with one other scientific computing/scripting language, such as Python or MATLAB
  • Working knowledge of Unix
  • Experience with designing and implementing medical device software
  • Strong experience with third-party C++ libraries, such as STL, Qt, and Boost
