We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team at Sonepar Canada. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Business Intelligence & Analytic solutions for Sonepar Canada using the Microsoft BI stack.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, develop, and support Microsoft's Business Intelligence Technologies, including Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Analysis Server, Reporting Services, Integration Services, DAX, Excel, Power BI, and Azure BI environment.
- Provide production support for client applications, including program analysis, testing, and system enhancements. Some support may be outside of normal business hours.
- Resolve challenging problems in collaboration with other internal customers or IT teams.
- Perform all other activities related to data subjects matter, including internal team training.
- At least 5 years of experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence sphere, including Azure Cloud BI solutions.
- Good knowledge of Data Lake, Lakehouse.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure BI Tools, such as Databricks, Fabric, Synapse, and Azure Data Factory (a plus).
- Good knowledge in relational database and SQL Query writing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft BI Stack, POWER BI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS (Tabular).
- Business knowledge in Wholesale and Distribution spheres (a plus).
- Bachelor Degree or Collegial Degree in Information Systems.
- Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual French and English Required.
