Electrical Design Specialist

We are seeking an Electrical Design Specialist to join our team in the Estrie area. As a key player in building electrical projects, this individual will contribute to the design of plans and models, perform surveys, and assist the engineering team in the realization of projects in the commercial, industrial, institutional, and hospital sectors.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in the electrical design of the building, including electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, etc.
- Perform field surveys and layouts
- Produce plans and models using AutoCAD and REVIT software
- Ensure compliance with norms and standards for plans and models
- Conduct site visits and participate in certain stages of work supervision
- Perform calculations and equipment searches under the supervision of the project engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Knowledge of building electrical codes and regulations
- Minimum of two years' relevant experience
- Good command of Revit and AutoCAD software
- Proficiency in French (both oral and written)
- Knowledge of AGI 32 lighting calculation software (an asset)
- ASP Construction card (an asset)
- Valid Driver's license
