Salary and Benefits
The Compensation Range for this role is MIN: $107,200 - MID: $134,000 - MAX: $160,800 Currency: CAD. Magnet offers a range of benefits including generous time off policies, competitive compensation, volunteer opportunities, and employee committees & resource groups.
Job Description
We're looking for a talented platform engineer to join our growing team responsible for building the next generation of digital forensics products enhancing collaboration between various stakeholders in the agency org. The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for delivering our Customer-Hosted REVIEW solution, driving best practices and improvements related to hardware, storage and Kubernetes configurations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and measuring the performance of on-prem storage systems (JBOD, Dell PowerVault, Dell Unity, VMWare SAN, etc.) and proficiency with networking design, protocols (ie: S3, iSCSI). They should also have experience with Python and/or Go, building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, working with Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure), and Linux shell scripting.
