Occupational Health and Safety Partner

Our client, The Counsel Network, is seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Partner to join its team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will assist in Occupational Health & Safety matters relating to all aspects of the investigation and defense of charges under relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice on occupational health and safety law, Workers Compensation Board issues, health law, and the defense of claims against physicians and insurers.
  • Be part of the Labour & Employment practice group to help manage the practice for clients across a broad range of industries.
  • Provide mentorship and support to the office's growing Labour & Employment Group.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of assisting public and private employers with a wide variety of labour and employment matters.
  • Strong commercial acumen, outstanding client care skills, and excellent practice management skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational health and safety law and be able to provide expert advice to clients. If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking to join a dynamic team, please submit your application.
