Job Description

One Silicon Chip Photonics (OSCP) is seeking a highly skilled Optoelectronics Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development and characterization of integrated photonics-based motion sensors.

Responsibilities:
  • Characterize PIC building blocks, including splitters, circulators, filters, and resonators
  • Work closely with the hardware electronics team to create, build, and debug optical test setups for sensor characterization
  • Perform electro-optical experiments and data analysis
  • Participate in the design of opto-electronics devices and procure optical, electro-optical, and electronics parts as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of industry experience in photonics devices test
  • Deep knowledge of integrated photonics-based sensors, particularly micro-optical resonators
  • Strong expertise in electronics and photonics engineering, as well as software interface
  • Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
