Job Title: Regional Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
Sunbelt Rentals of Canada Inc. is a leading equipment rental company in North America, seeking a highly skilled Regional Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to support our growth in Southern Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate safety and health risks.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with the Safety Director to manage worker's compensation claims and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Lead the development of Job Safety Assessments (JSAs) for high-risk tasks and activities.
- Promote a culture of safety and health awareness throughout the organization.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with a degree in Occupational Safety or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety, with a strong background in incident management and investigations.
- Senior leadership experience, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel and hold a valid passport and Ontario driver's license.
