Job Title: New Ventures Business Analyst

Pembina Pipeline Corporation is a dynamic energy transportation and midstream provider, serving customers for over 65 years. We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our New Ventures team.

Job Summary:

The New Ventures Business Analyst will support the development and evaluation of innovative business opportunities, leveraging Pembina's expertise and infrastructure to create long-term value for our business, customers, and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities
  • Develop financial models to evaluate the economic feasibility of new projects
  • Prepare comprehensive business cases for potential projects, including strategic fit, market analysis, and financial projections
  • Analyze investment proposals and support recommendations to senior management
  • Conduct due diligence on potential investment and project opportunities
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders
  • Support the management of ongoing projects, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-5 years' work experience in strategic planning, financial evaluation, market research, business development, or technology development
  • Demonstrated interest in low-carbon industries and markets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to articulate results and findings
  • Proven financial modeling capabilities and best practices
  • Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills
