We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Westford Nursing Home.

About the Role

This is a permanent, part-time position with 24 to 37.5 hours per week available. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with our interdisciplinary health team, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our residents.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our geriatric patients, addressing their unique needs and concerns. Your excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues will be invaluable in this position.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, including assessing patients, developing care plans, and implementing interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
  • Dispense and administer medications and treatments according to physician prescriptions.
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Current registration with the relevant provincial/territorial nursing regulatory body.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
