We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Fresh Slice Pizza. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets our quality and presentation expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook pizzas to order, using a variety of ingredients and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
- Staff Training and Development: Train and develop junior staff members in pizza preparation and cooking techniques, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a pizza restaurant or similar establishment.
- Skills: Excellent cooking and preparation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
