About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Paragon Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure a clean and safe environment. Prepare and cook pizzas to our high standards, using fresh ingredients and following our recipes.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Staff Management: Recruit and hire staff to join our team, and manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, judgement, reliability, and team player skills are essential for this role.
