Nursing Professor

Cégep Héritage College is seeking a qualified Nursing Professor to teach credited courses in our esteemed Nursing program. As a key member of our faculty team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational experiences that empower our students to excel in their careers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Teaching classes, labs, and fieldwork in our Nursing program
• Developing and implementing course outlines and curricula
• Supporting student learning through individualized instruction and feedback
• Mentoring and supervising students in clinical settings
• Assessing student progress and evaluating program effectiveness

To succeed in this role, you will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with several years of teaching experience at the university or college level preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of Pediatric Nursing experience
• Fluency in English, both oral and written
• Knowledge of software required by the program
• Membership in the College of Nurses of Ontario and an OIIQ license for Quebec placements

In addition, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a departmental team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $54,661.00 - $105,266.00 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
