Nursing Professor

Cégep Héritage College is seeking a qualified Nursing Professor to join our team. As a Nursing Professor, you will be responsible for teaching credited courses within the Nursing program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and assessing students in a clinical setting, providing feedback and guidance, and collaborating with the Faculty Team Leader. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to a variety of student needs.

• Teach and assess students in a clinical setting
• Provide feedback and guidance to students
• Collaborate with the Faculty Team Leader
• Support student learning and development
• Participate in departmental meetings and activities

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Several years of teaching experience at the university or college level
• Minimum of 3 years of Pediatric Nursing experience
• Fluency in English, both oral and written
• Knowledge of software as per program requirements
• Member of the College of Nurses of Ontario
• OIIQ (Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec) license for all Quebec placements

• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in French, both oral and written
• Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter through practical experiences

$54,661.00 - $105,266.00 per year
