We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Dawson Creek & District Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assessments, plan, and provide personal care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with the Unit/Program Manager and multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and provide nursing procedures.
- Administer medications and operate related equipment, adhering to the competency guidelines and scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing patient care and safety.
- Knowledge and competencies to work at full scope of practice, including administering medications.
