About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Fashion Designer to join our team at IMC International Mascot Corporation. As a Custom Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, made-to-measure garments that meet our customers' specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Create Custom Garments: Use your expertise to design and create custom garments that meet our customers' needs and specifications.
  • Operate Sewing Machines and Hand-Sew: Operate sewing machines and sew by hand to create high-quality garments.
  • Select and Modify Patterns: Select and modify commercial patterns to meet our customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit.
  • Mark, Cut, and Sew Fabric: Mark, cut, and sew fabric to create high-quality garments.
  • Fit, Alter, and Repair Garments: Fit, alter, and repair garments as required to ensure a perfect fit.
Requirements
  • Education: College or equivalent education in fashion design or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in fashion design or a related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication, initiative, judgment, organized, reliable, hardworking, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
