Job Summary:

The Erb Group of Companies is seeking a Part-time Dock Receiver and Driver Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of trailers and trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trailers and trucks
  • Counting and sorting freight
  • Working safely and adhering to safety policies and regulations
  • Performing other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Accuracy, dependability, and ability to safely operate dock
  • Forklift experience is an asset
  • Flexibility with workload and duties
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Positive and team-oriented attitude
  • Previous experience handling food and refrigerated products is preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proven positive work ethic
  • Ability to tolerate working within a cold refrigerated environment
