Salary

Job Description

This exciting opportunity is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our Total Rewards team as a Reward Benefits Coordinator. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional employee experiences by providing specialized services within the Total Rewards department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing employee life cycles, including reviewing, entering, and validating employee data into various HR systems
  • Administering group insurance benefits and pension plans for eligible employee groups
  • Processing STD/LTD claims and monitoring banks
  • Providing excellent customer service to employees, managers, and retirees
  • Maintaining accurate data in external systems and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A three-year diploma/degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent training and experience
  • CHRP/CHRL designation preferred
  • HRPA membership preferred
  • A minimum of two years of recent and related Human Resources experience, preferably in a unionized healthcare environment
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office and HRIS experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of employment legislation and collective agreement administration
