We are seeking a skilled Construction Specialist to join our team at 1262688 B.C. LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
- Perform routine maintenance work to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week. The work environment is outdoors, with exposure to noise, dust, and heat. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a variety of settings, including urban and rural areas.
Language and TransportationThe primary language of work is English. The ideal candidate will have access to their own transportation or be able to use public transportation.
Education and ExperienceNo degree, certificate, or diploma is required. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and train on the job.
